The short version
WeighBetter gives you general nutrition, fitness, and habit coaching. It is not medical care. It's an early beta run by one person — expect rough edges, and don't rely on it for anything critical.
Not medical advice
WeighBetter is not a healthcare provider, and nothing it produces — plans, targets, calorie or protein estimates, restaurant suggestions, or coach messages — is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to your doctor before starting any weight-loss program, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or take prescription medication. If you take medication that affects blood sugar or appetite, involve your prescriber in any significant diet change.
If you're having a medical emergency, call emergency services. Don't use this site.
Estimates are estimates
Calorie and protein figures — including those from meal photos and restaurant lookups — are approximations generated by software. Restaurant menus and recipes change. Treat these numbers as guidance, and check published nutrition information when precision matters.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older, and accounts are approved individually.
- Give accurate health information — the coaching is only as good as what you tell it, and bad inputs can produce inappropriate targets.
- Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Don't use the service to harm anyone, including yourself. If you're struggling with disordered eating, please seek qualified help — this service isn't built for that, and we'd rather you got real support.
Your content
What you write and log stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — storing it, and sending it to the processors listed in the privacy policy. Delete your account and it's gone.
Availability
This is a beta. It may be unavailable, lose data, or change without notice. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Ending things
You can delete your account any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. Either way, these terms stop applying except where they logically survive.
